One room, three jobs

Deli counter at the back, groceries down the middle, drinks and snacks by the door. Tables if you want to eat here. Every photo below was taken in the store.

The deli counter

Read the boards, order at the case

The lit boards over the counter hold the whole menu. Under them the case keeps prepared salads, sandwiches, cakes and desserts. The grill is behind it, so hot food goes straight from the flat top into the box.

Rice, beans, sauces, spices, cooking oil, bread, paper goods, diapers, cleaning supplies. Halal products sit with the rest of the grocery, not off in a corner.

Somewhere to sit

Booths if you are eating now

Four booths along the side wall. Truckers eat here at two in the morning, kids come in after school, and plenty of people take the box back out to the car.
